HOW TO ORGANISE YOUR IDEAS ON PAPER

This is very simple.

Often when you come to write something you set out with an idea in your head, then translate it onto paper and comes out wrong somehow.  The words don’t flow, and the context gets all mixed up.

Then you end up trying to edit some complicated, badly written clump of ideas which takes ages and is no fun at all.

Well, here’s how to make it simple.  Get someone to listen to you (or a recorder).  Ask yourself what does this subject/section/sentence mean?

Say it.

Write it down exactly as you say it.

You’ll be surprised how much quicker you can write sense.
