Africa changed our lives.

We went there as medical students in the mid 70’s – Sally to Tanzania, me to Rhodesia and South Africa.

The open country, the animals, and the work made us realise that is what we wanted to do.  However, even in those days it was clear that Africa was falling apart – and it has.

So we went  to Australia instead.
